This was the most beautiful winter day yet in Texas. These photos are taken from the balcony outside my office and a couple from my back yard. Loved it, people here thought I was crazy.

Thomas' Surprise Christmas 2008

This was so much fun to surprise Thomas with his truck. He was so disappointed that he was not able to get the truck. Plus he got his classring. He had a good Christmas.

Family Photos - Fall 2008

Wow we had a great time with Sarah when she was taking our pictures. We found a great hide-a-way that would remind us of home to have pictures taken. Thomas was not happy at first, but he ended up having a great time.

Vacation 2008 New Mexico

This was awesome, we got to see Thomas for the first couple of days we were at the cabin in Glorietta. The Indian ruins were incredible. Bear prints on the porch and hummingbirds by day. The view from the front porch was awesome!

Church Celebration of Volleyball & Basketball leagues

The church celebrated the completion of the volleyball and basketball leagues that played at our church this past spring. It was a nice time to get to to know other people from our community.

John's 41st Birthday

For John's birthday I took him out to dinner on Friday, then Saturday, his actual birthday, he had to work and it was Thomas' prom. Sunday we went to church and the church had a cook out. After the cookout we met some friends at a near by park and shared his ice cream cake. The weather was wonderful.

Prom 2008 - Texas Style

Well, the big night arrived Thomas' Prom. Us Hoosiers got to experience the way they do prom down here. Back home, the big deal is where you have the prom and how big of "after prom" you have.

Texas does not think that way. No Sir. Here it is not where the prom is because they have their prom in their high school gym.... imagine that... that would save money. Second prom is not about what you wear, it is about what you arrive in.Enjoy the pictures of the prom arrival parade us simple Hoosiers got to experience. It will take a while - so have some patience it is worth it.
